The tech world is keeping high expectations about few import events going to take place in the first quarter of 2013. As in early 2012, the tech manufacturers are gearing up designing new projects to be reveled exclusively for Consumer Electronics Show (CES) and Mobile World Congress (MWC) to be held in 2013 January and February respectively. As there are too many players in the international market competing each other for the dominance in the smartphone market, Apple and Samsung is keeping an eye on the current developments brought forward by Sony.
Apple and Samsung which control the international market with high end smartphones are keeping head high with their newly released iPhone and Galaxy S series devices. Even though Apple iPhone 5 and Samsung Galaxy S3 are doing good business, smartphones developed by Sony which come under Xperia series priced at Rs 30,000 is about to give a stiff competition to Apple and Samsung.
While riding on the shoulders of Xperia series smartphones, Sony is gearing up to welcome 2013 with a couple of brand new products dubbed as Yuga and Odin. Reported to be a 5 inch mammoth device, the Yuga C6603 boosts of having 1080p HD display, 1.5GHz quad core processor, 2GB RAM and 12MP rear camera. Adding more to it, the Xperia Yuga will have a non-removable battery and glass clad back panel making it look feel good as a superior device.
Even though there is no official statement from Sony regarding the existence of 'Yuga', many tech blogs have already written a lot about it. Market experts believe that, the arrival of Xperia Yuga will affect the existence of Samsung Galaxy Note 2 which is available in the international market including Indian priced at Rs, 39,900. While comparing with Samsung Galaxy Note 2, the Yuga boosts of having a 12 Mega Pixel camera against 8 MP camera of Note 2.
The tech world was at the peak of excitement as their eye balls jumped high watching a collection of images speculated to be of Yuga. The images reveal that Yuga will have a chrome power button, a volume rocker and a dedicated camera button.
The last months of 2012 and the first half of 2013 will see more fierce battle of smartphones as manufactures are planning to release devices embedded with modern technology to give a stiff competition each other. The smartphones which are lining up for an early release are HTC J Butterfly (Droid DNA), Google Nexus 4, Samsung Galaxy S4, Oppo Find 5 and much more. The most interesting device waiting to get unveiled is ZTE 5.9 inch Windows equipped phablet which will bring the 'battle of smartphones' reach next extend.
So manufacturers who could read the mind of customers are trying best to equip their products with latest technology. As smartphone users do put interest in specifications, features and of course the price, tech firms put maximum effort to develop new products and create their own space in the international market.
