Windows 8 Gaming laptops from Lenovo


In my previous articles on gaming laptops, I explored gaming laptops from Toshiba and also best gaming laptops from Samsung but all these gaming devices were Windows 7 OS oriented but this time I am exploring some Windows 8 gaming laptops. A new name also added in the Windows 8 gaming products manufacturers' segment and that is Lenovo who has announced a number of awesome gaming laptops under its IdeaPad series. Out of all announced Windows 8 gaming products from Lenovo, here I am going to explore two from its IdeaPad series which are nice not only look wise but are slimmer in shape and capable enough compete any standard laptop in market. These laptops will be available to customers at an affordable price range.

My first pick is 14-inches IdeaPad Z400 gaming laptop with NVIDIA GeForce graphics technology and 1TB of internal storage and the second one is IdeaPad Z500 with 15.6-inches LED backlit screen for giving ultimate gaming experience to users.

Lenovo IdeaPad Z400


Lenovo IdeaPad Z400
Z400 is one of the recently announced updated versions of IdeaPad series from Lenovo featuring LED backlit display with Windows 8 Operating System, powered by Intel or AMD A-series processor. The slim shaped laptop PC is well designed to show immense gaming capabilities with its Nvidia graphics gaming technologies and expected to arrive in market next month. Though our experience says that gaming support PCs are mostly very expensive but this laptop from IdeaPad series seems to be much affordable when compare to other gaming laptops already available in market.

IdeaPad Z400 laptop Specification and features


The slim shaped and light weight IdeaPad Z400 ultrabook features 14-inch LED backlit display with screen resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels with HD display screen. This Windows 8 PC is 25 percents slim in comparison to standard PCs already available in market.

The Lenovo Z400 ultrabooks model comes packed with Intel's Core processor with NVIDIA GeForce graphics technology and 2GB of video memory that is able to provide enhanced gaming experience for game lovers. The machine also has 1TB of storage, 16GB GB of RAM with a DVD drive and optional Blu-ray players also. Besides this, Lenovo designed this latest machine machine to have many intelligent features such as access to Lenovo cloud and also has a nice Touchpad.

The Windows 8 gaming laptop is able to access all new windows 8 features and functionality like Metro interfaces, Windows 8 charms and modern UI/Windows 8 style and apps with traditional desktop apps via Windows store.

Lenovo set the price of its Z400 Windows 8 gaming machine at $549.99 and will be available to customers in November this year.

IdeaPad Z500 is the Windows 8 slim notebooks from Lenovo with LED LED display and running on Intel Core or AMD A-Series CPU. Lenovo unveiled IdeaPad Z500 ultrabook at an affordable price range and will be available to customers very soon. This is the larger version of IdeaPad series than Z400 ultrabook. The low priced laptop has capability to provide great performing experience to its user.

IdeaPad Z500 ultrabook specs and reviews


With 15.6-inches LED backlit display, the slim shaped and light weight Z500 ultrabook features 1,366 x 768 pixels of screen resolution and shows high definition (HD) display quality. Like Z400, the Z500 ultabook is also 25 percent slim when compared to other standard laptops available in market.

The Lenovo laptop is expected to come packed either with AMD A-series processor or Intel's Core processor coupling to 16GB RAM and NVIDIA GeForce graphics technology and with 2GB of video memory. The Lenovo gaming laptop machine is configured with 1TB of internal storage and an optional Blu-ray player with a DVD drive capable to give users immense gaming experience.

Users can also access Lenovo cloud with IdeaPad Z500 machine. The machine also has a nice touchpad to let the user work smoothly on device. Running on Windows 8, it has access to traditional desktop apps as well as modern UI/Windows style applications via windows store.
