Sharp Aquos Pad SHT21, a 7 inches Android tablet can be tagged as the first tablet to use Indium Gallium Zinc Oxide (IGZO) display panel. The tablet boost of providing better battery life which would an extra 2 and half times better than the current tablets available in the market. The display of the tablet which is made of Indium Gallium Zinc Oxide (IGZO), it touts of achieving record for being used continuously for 24 hours without any interruption comparing with the 10 hours work of normal tablets.

Powered with a 1.5 Ghz Snapdragon S4 dual core processor, the tablet comes along with 1 GB of RAM. The Sharp Aquos Pad SHT21 is embedded with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Operating System while the NFC chip included will allow users to do mobile payment and tap and share content without difficulty. For connectivity, the AQUOS Pad SHT21 supports NFC, MHL, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth ver. 4.0 and 4G LTE. The 4G LTE connectivity would add more power to its download and upload speed.

The 16GB on board memory would be sufficient to store your personal stuffs. The SHT21 tablet features a front-facing VGA camera and an 8MP snapper on the rear side which would be ideal to click your favourite memories. The memory can be expanded with a micro SD card slot which supports up to 32 GB of storage. A 3460 mAh battery which can be rechargeable would give 24 hours of battery backup and one week standby time which no other tablets have claimed till date.

The tablet also supports digital pen which could be used to write on the screen of the tablet.
