Comparing with the previous releases, the T-Pad WS703C boosts of being the first Tablet PC in India to have a 2G SIM slot for voice call. The 7-inch multi touch device is updated with the Android 4.0.3 OS and also comes along with two VGA cameras. The tablet is powered by a 1.2 GHz Cortex A8 processor and has a RAM of 512MB.

The T-Pad WS703C has a 4 GB internal memory which can be expanded up to 32 GB. As for connectivity options, the tablet makers have included various options including WiFi and 3G support which can be done with mini USB and HDMI port. The device is capable of playing audio and videos under various formats. The 300 mAh battery will be ideal for smooth functioning of the tablet.

The Penta T-Pad WS703C tablet was unveiled by Minister of HRD, Telecom and IT, Kapil Sibal at a glittering function held at Kerala MP PC Chacko's constituency in Kerala. A total of 674 Penta T-Pad WS703C tablets were being distributed to the meritorious students who had excelled in the SSLC 2012 exam.
