Case study on the reason for launch of Blue

The reason for the release of Blue is many. One of them could be that Microsoft usually comes out with an update after a few years while other mobile operating systems like Android or iOS usually have updates once in a year. This could be one of the strategies of Microsoft to come up with "Blue" to use smaller upgrades and service packs as an update instead of relying on major large scale updates. This will help Microsoft to be in the market year round.
There is one more possibility that "Blue" could be some sort of Service Pack for the updating and fixing any problems of Windows 8. This could be a sort of monitoring tool for Windows 8 after post release. There is also a possibility that "Blue" may be a feature pack providing additional features or to Windows 8 along with fixing any problems or issues.

The real reason behind this "Blue" is not yet clear. However it is anticipated that " Blue" will be released in Summer next year -2013. Microsoft has not yet claimed anything about either the features or the functionality of "Blue". Seems there is no option but to wait its launch next year.
