The Operating System with high expectations from the Microsoft Corporation viz., Windows 8 Operating System will be available for public use from October 26, 2012. The launch of the Windows 8 Operating System has been decided on October 26, 2012. But the major point in this launch will be that the Windows 8 Operating System will not be available separately.

The Windows 8 Operating System will be available only in the computers whose manufacturer has an agreement with Microsoft Corporation and the Windows 8 Operating System will be available as an installed version in these computers. Therefore, the Windows 8 Operating System copy will work only in the installed system with the specific motherboard. A customer can't change it to other computers with different motherboard. Therefore, if a customer wishes to change his computer, he has to buy a new version of Windows 8 Operating System.

If a customer wishes to upgrade the existing Operating System to Windows 8 Operating System then they have to pay the license fee of $40 to Microsoft Corporation and then the customer's existing Operating System will be allowed to be upgraded to Windows 8 Operating System by the Microsoft Corporation. It may be recalled that Microsoft Corporation has announced few weeks back that its Windows 8 Operating System will be launched during the end of October without mentioning any launch date. Now, the Microsoft Corporation has definitely announced that the Windows 8 Operating System will be available to the customers from October 26, 2012. Microsoft Corporation believes that the Windows 8 Operating System will be a turning point in the software history of the company.

For the first time, Microsoft Corporation has come out with an Operating System viz., Windows 8 which can operate in Desktop / Laptop, Tablet PC and even in Windows Phone. It is also expected that Microsoft Corporation will also introduce the much awaited Surface Tablet PC along with the launch of Windows 8 Operating System. It may also be remembered that Google Incorporation has recently launched their Tablet PC viz., Nexus 7 recently.

Microsoft Corporation has announced that the Windows 8 Operating System will be available in a chip during the exhibition which has caught the imagination of many, worldwide. On June 1, 2011 in the COMPUTEX 2011 exhibition, Microsoft Corporation has made the official announcement about the launch of Windows 8 Operating System. Many were interested to know about the details on the Metro Interface announced by Microsoft Corporation in their Operating System viz., Windows 8.

At the same time, it was announced by Microsoft Corporation that the earlier Interface will also be retained in the Windows 8 Operating System. Microsoft has also announced the advantages of Windows 8 Operating System as faster booting time than the earlier Windows 7 Operating System; availability of USB 3; access to Windows Store; and operating the Windows 8 Operating System from an USB Drive. All these developments are really much awaited by the customers of Microsoft Corporation.
