Microsoft has launched a planned schedule for August. Starting 15th August, 2012 there is a list of activities which Microsoft proposes to do and has been officially declared in its website. Microsoft has launched a planned schedule for August. Starting 15th August, 2012 there is a list of activities which Microsoft proposes to do and has been officially declared in its website. This article gives the details of the schedule. Further, a quick update on the leak of boot screen of Windows 8 is also captured in this article.



As time is passing by Windows 8 is gearing up for its final release of windows 8 which was announced to be released on Friday 26th October, 2012. However, the previous two months is as crucial as the month of release. It is very clear that the activities are pinned after 15th August, 2012. So you still have a ten day time to gear up with Windows 8 Updates. It seems that the final version will be available for the IT professionals for testing on 15th August.

Schedule of Windows 8 for August


Here's the schedule which was officially launched by Microsoft to update and aware its awaiting users:
August 15: Developers will be able to download the final version of Windows 8 via their MSDN subscription.
August 15: IT professionals testing Windows 8 in organizations will be able to access the final version of Windows 8 through their TechNet subscription.
August 16: Customers with existing Microsoft Software Assurance for Windows will be able to download Windows 8 Enterprise edition through the Volume License Service Center (VLSC), allowing them to test, pilot, and begin adopting Windows 8 Enterprise within their organization.
August 16: Microsoft Partner Network members will have access to Windows 8.
August 20: Microsoft Action Pack Providers (MAPS) receive access to Windows 8.
September 1: Volume License customers without Software Assurance will be able to purchase Windows 8 through Microsoft Volume License Resellers.


Quick update on the leak of the boot screen of Windows 8


A quick update is that the boot screen of Windows 8 has been leaked. Winbeta.org claimed that "It looks like our first leak has occurred, as Windows 8 Enterprise N has appeared on torrenting sites and has been confirmed by several that it's the real deal," The boot screen of Windows 8 is


So with the leak and the planned schedule of Microsoft Second half of August will be a crucial moment for windows 8 and its valuable awaiting customers.
