LG Smartphone Idea Camp is an innovative program from LG to connect with the consumers, encourage creative minds and convert the innovative ideas into reality. The Smartphone Idea Camp offers a platform for people to submit their ideas to LG and get prizes. Well, not just the prize money, there is more to it. The best part of Smartphone Idea Camp is, selected ideas would be incorporated into future LG line of products.

It is time to take your ideas out and submit to Smartphone Idea Camp. While using electronic gadgets and smartphones, how many times you and me said 'if this is like that, it would have been better!'. Well, think about all the features you dreamed to have in any gadgets and phones. Organize them into ideas and feature suggestions. Bring it up to Smartphone Idea Camp and see what others think about your ideas. LG believes no one but the consumers know what they want and this campaign is an effort from LG to connect with consumers to learn what they want.

How Smartphone Idea Camp program works?

You can submit innovative ideas on Apps, Concepts, Designs, Ideas, Features etc to this program. This is a 2 month long campaign. At the end of the program, an expert panel setup by LG will evaluate the submissions. Best ideas will be given prizes as well as will be shortlisted to be included in future LG products.

The 3 most important factors that will be evaluated to choose the winners are:

imagination

creativity

utility

How to submit your ideas to Smartphone Idea Camp?

After you consolidate your ideas and giving the final touches, visit the following URL and submit it:

Up to 40 participants will be shortlisted to present the ideas in Idea Camp to be held at Delhi. If you qualify for the second round, you will get an LG Optimus Smartphone. If you are shortlisted for the second phase and invited for the Idea camp at Delhi, company will take care of your train ticket, accommodation and other reasonable expenses like food.

There are few rules to participate in the idea camp:

Only Indian residents can participate.

Last date to submit your idea is 15 Sept 2012.

There is no purchase required. And, there is no participation fees.

Winners will be selected by a panel setup by LG

Second Prize: Rs 2,00,000
Third prize: Rs 1,00,000
7 Consolation Prizes: Rs 50,000 each

All participants of the 3 day workshop will receive an LG Optimus series smartphone!
