A new city building game came in the market on Facebook and everybody was like what is it? Well the game we are going to discuss about is Olympic games city. By the name we can clearly find out which category this game belongs; yes, you are right, it is a type of city building game but in different manner. I remember the time when I used to play the locomotion or zoo tycoon from the Microsoft. Actually these games are derived from the basic idea which was built by the Microsoft for age of empires games. Okay, now let's jump in to the review of this game.

Olympic Games City downloaded fast on the computer and we were ready to play the game. You can play it online too. One thing which was a setback for this game is that if you are not having any friends connected to it then it might be little difficult for you to progress. The other city building games like Sims City were very good as in that we can play ourselves and pass the time. In this there are certain things which you cannot do without the help of friends like Olympic Games held in your city.

The ease with which Olympic Games City can be played is very good. I mean you can directly play the game and setup the whole scenario. It will not be difficult for you to learn this game. Now talking about the graphics and new option, then I would say they have lacked somewhere. I did not saw any much improvement in the graphics area. The same graphics which we saw in the tycoon based game are same here. Now improvements in the option also are not that good. But yes if you are obsessed with the same concept of city building then here is a relief for you.

The whole set up of Olympic Games City is dedicated to the games which are going to be held in the London. Your friends can also build their own city and you can help them to build there on sports arena. But as we know there is a terms known as 'vice versa'. So, if you want to go far then you have to take the friends help to go forward. There are options of building stadium. But initially you will not get cash from it but as your goodwill increases, you can conduct various sports in these venues. But here also one problem is there. You cannot conduct own games, and they are defined games. You can view the winner after certain time. So this is totally encrypted in software as how they will play and how they will win. If game developer could have provided more option in the sports segment then this game would have become more energetic and interesting.

But what made me look towards Olympic Games City in a brighter way was the design. Like they have modified the whole thing for e.g. tea shop, cheese shops, stadium etc. As soon as you will see any building then you will find out what actually it is. The bus lanes and the underground parking are very good. The control through the mouse also played very well. The camera setting available are also good but they are same as in other games.

Conclusion

Now, ending this review I would just like to say that if you need any special game in city building then I think you should not go for it. But if you need any change in flavor then of course this is the game at present. Graphics could have been better in this game. Music is very nice and praiseworthy.
