Skypad tablet PC's Gemini & Protos launched by Skytex specification uncovered

Android tablet PC is now increasing sharply. Here are two Android tablet PC with ICS version by Skytex. New android tablet is named as Skypad Gemini and Skypad Protos. Below is the specification and its cost in India.

Skypad tablet PC

Skypad tablet PC is a new series by Skytex followed by Skypad. Skytex is a U.S. based company that globally distributes consumer electronics such as tablet PC to the consumers. In Skypad series two fresh piece were available in the market. One is the budget tablet costs 179 dollar with 7-inch display and the other is 9.7-inch IPS display tablet PC that costs 279 dollars. Skytex were genius in producing tablet PC with hi-res cameras, enhanced audio system and decent displays that boost the user experience.

Skypad Gemini: Skypad Gemini looks like tablet PC that are rolling in the market. Specification looks nothing different. All the tablets have their own specialty. While considering its magnum opus it has got Accelerometer sensor for this price. Accelerometer sensor may not sense you more. But I have crossed several tablet in this cost range, no tablet has got sensors. Sensors means you can enjoy your games. I need to add that it have Mali-400MP GPU. So gaming experience will be first class. While competing with newly launched Nexus 7 this tablet fails. Nexus 7 priced with 20 dollars more than Skypad Gemini.

Skypad Protos: Skytex Protos is a bit costlier than above cited tablet PC Gemini. The peak thing that differs from Skytex Gemini is its display and camera. Protos has got 5MP camera and IPS display that we have in iPad. The main thing about the IPS display is the viewing angles will be good. I think you have experience facing the viewing angles problem. If you are not aware of viewing angle let me explain. Think if you are watching a movie with 6 friends. Person who holding the tablet can see the exact color and video. But the person sitting in both the corners can't see clearly. People in corners may experience trouble in viewing the movie. This thing wont appear in this Protos Tablet PC.

Skypad Gemini Specification

Specs of Skypad Gemini: It is a 7 inch tablet that chained familiar Android ICS. Only Nexus 7 tablet PC has got Android Jelly Bean. In future there will be update in this Gemini Tablet. But no announcement made regarding that. Display made up of normal LCD with 800x480px resolution. Capacitive touchscreen with multitouch facility is available. CPU is clocked with 1.2Ghz and GPU involoves Mali-400MP. Other major features involves 1GB RAM size. Storage specs engaged in this tablet were 8GB internal and 32 expandable through external. Connectivity can be made through Wi-Fi that supports 802.11n, 802.11g, 802.11b and bluetooth with version 2.0. GPS is not available. 2MP camera in the front & ports such as Mini USB, HDMI were the remaining specs of this tablet. Battery features 3000 mAh capacity Li-ion battery. Battery backup will be upto 6hours.

Skypad Protos Specification

Specs of Skypad Protos: Skypad Protos have sturdy specs when comparing to Gemini. Capacitive touchscreen Display with size 9.7 inches made of IPS LCD technology with resolution 1024x768px. Operating System, CPU, GPU, RAM, internal & external memory, connectivity features is same as Gemini tablet PC. Only thing differs is its camera. It have both front and rear camera. Front with 2 megapixels and back camera with 5 megapixels. Battery capacity is huge designed to have battery backup of 10 hr. Capacity of Skypad Protos battery is 6000 mAh.
