Most of us use internet everyday, what if it closed down on a day? Yes. according to the latest news, because of malware DNS changer, millions of computers will lose their internet connection on monday. If that occurs, it will be a shock for the world which depends upon the internet for a lot of purposes. It has become a part of life. So this issue has a lot of importance and must taken seriously.

No problem will be seen on internet connection, but while we search for necessary sites your attempt will become failure. The malware [DNS changer] effected PCs will have problems on their network connection on monday.

F.B.I. is saying that since 2007 to last October about 40 lakhs of computers has been affected D.N.S. changer virus. This helps the cyber criminals to control the computers and to return the web traffic without the knowledge of computer owners.

As per the orders of D.N.S. servers, the virus affected computers will visit some sites and click the advertisements present there. Through this fake method cyber criminals earn money from this advertised matter.
The esthonian citizens who have been supposedly working behind the D.N.S. changer botnet were arrested last november by FBI. DNS servers have been captured from New york & Chikago in USA.

Normally these mail servers destroy the botnets. We cannot resist the destruction fully caused by the virus because of the speciality of DNS changer. Malware program will affect the settings once it becomes the part of this chain. The change will affect the setting which determines to which 'domain name system'(DNS) server to be communicated. If you type a particular IP address on the browser, the DNS changer affected computer will communicate with the criminal controlled servers.

If you want to visit Apple iTunes site from the malware affected computer, it will redirect to a fake site which tells Apple is selling a software. That means DNS server will act as a computer switch board which redirects the web traffic.

Lakhs of computers are wrongly connected this way with DNS servers. Instead of demolishing these servers the authorities started working the servers lawfully.

But that cannot be the only antidot to virus. We should keep DNS servers clear to avoid malware program, using software tools. The American authorities close down those servers temporarily on Monday.

That is, nobody in the world can get the internet to those computers which were directed to those servers. That will be a cause of headache to many on Monday.

I think title subject matter not happened here. Internet connection issue will be there but since data card is there and security measure is taken, nothing could happen.
