A paypal limited account can be a headache for a paypal account holder. The person with a limited account cannot withdraw any money from his account. In this post, I will discuss the common reasons behind a paypal account getting limited and the correct method to get the limitation removed. Causes of Paypal Account Limitation

Paypal limits the accounts of the users for a number of reasons. Some of the reasons are as follows:

1)The most common cause is the name not matching in the account and the given document. This can be a pan card, driving license or any other identity proof that you are required to submit at the time of creating an account. If the name does not match in both places, the account may get limited. Such a limitation can be handled without much problem.

In case, you are using the Paypal account for making a number of transactions, you should upgrade to a premier account and this will solve your problem.

3)Another reason is a number of chargebacks or refund requests against your account. This raises an alarm for the paypal team and provides an hint that you might be a scammer. In these cases the paypal account is limited permanently and it is not possible to reveres this by any method. Moreover, such people are not allowed to create a new paypal account in their entire life.

How to resolve Paypal Account Limitation

In case the limitation has occurred due to lack of sufficient documents, you should provide all the necessary documents asked by the Paypal team. An important thing to remember here is that you should not provide a fake identity proof using photoshop.

The spam team at Paypal is intelligent enough to catch such fake proofs. If your account has got limited due to any other reason and you are not able to get any response with mail, it is advised to contact the Paypal employees by phone. You can expect a clear explanation after providing them the details regarding the limitation.

Most of the times, if you are able to eliminate their doubts, you will be able to get your limited account back. If your appeal fails then the money in the paypal account is on hold for 180 days. You will be able to withdraw that money only after 180 days.
