Nexus 7 tablet PC was announced by Google inc during the  I/O conference held on this year. Previous released Nexus products were mobile phone. This is the first tablet PC released by Google named as Nexus 7. This tablet PC is also called as Asus Nexus 7 as it is manufactured by Asus.



At beginning rumors such as "Google tie up with Samsung for Nexus 7 tablet" prevailed but it was finalized that Google has made a tie up with Asus. You may have a question why there is lot of expectation for this Nexus 7? The answer is its a affordable budget tablet. Just check the price below.

Cost of Nexus 7 Tablet in India: Asus Nexus costs 11,000 Indian Rupee approximately. It is tagged with 199 American Dollars. This price resemble to the most successful tablet Amazon's Kindle fire. So it is considered as the rival of Amazon Kindle fire.

Nexus 7 online shopping in India: Hope like Kindle fire you cant buy Nexus 7 through local markets of India such as Bangalore, Chennai and Mumbai. I am happy to inform you that Nexus is the first Tablet PC that got latest Android Version Jelly Bean. Google stated that Jelly Bean is just the upgrade of Android ICS. It has got NIVIDIA branded Tegra 3 CPU with clock speed 1.3 GHz. It is announced that it has 4 Cores in CPU. GPU is also a make from same brand with model GeForce. Sensors such as Gyroscope, Compass / Magnetometer, Accelerometer were also present.

Storage, Connectivity, Camera features of Nexus 7
While considering storage there are two versions available in Nexus 8 GB, 16 GB as internal storage. RAM available in Nexus in 1GB.

Connectivity involves Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth and NFC (Near field communication). Probably NFC technology is available only in few tablets. 802.11n, 802.11g, 802.11b, 802.11a Wi-Fi terminologies supported by Nexus. Only micro USB port is present, 3.5mm jack for headphone and a video out port.

Only front camera is available with 1.2 megapixels. It is good enough to have a video chat or a video call. Personally I feel back camera is useless when considering a tablet PC. Seems Google too inspired by my idea.

Capacity of battery available in Asus Nexus 7 is 4325 mAh. It looks like that it can withstand for 8hr. Batter charge may discharge quickly is Wi-Fi is kept on. It withstand for long time if you use this tablet for small tasks like playing games, running small apps, listening to song and enjoying with you HD videos.
