The game Dark Alleys: Penumbra Motel has three modes: Casual, Hard and Advanced. You can play all modes, as a single player. It brings to life the galaxy far, far away with stunning visuals and different animations.

Casual Mode- As the name suggests this mode is for beginners who need occasional help while playing the game. In this game you will see active zones that are represented by sparkles that present the areas where you will need to click on. There is a black bar that contains instructions you need during adventure portion of the game. Also, you can use hint buttons as and when need arises and these buttons will recharge quickly within a stipulated time frame of 60 seconds.

Hard Mode- The game is played in the similar mode with the exception that hint button recharges at a much slower level. Also, there are no active zones and sparkle to provide you hint.

Advanced Mode- This mode is for adept players who like the challenge. Their irrefutable and indomitable spirit makes them score well in the game. There are no active zones, no hints and hints button recharge at a snail's pace.

Choose the mode according to your level and if you find it difficult you can return to the main menu by changing the mode.
