Installing Android Nand Stock Desire 2.2 ROM HTC HD2

In this article I am going to teach you how to install Android Nand Stock Desire ROM on hd2. By installing Android Nand Stock Desire ROM on Hd2 your device will run smoother than before. By reading this article I will give you information on how to add flash ROM on it and step by step instructions to install it. First of all you need two files, the first one is actually the ROM itself and the second one is the magdlr file. Once you download these two files you got to extract those in two separate folders on your desktop to start your installation. For extracting the file you can use winrar application and the link to download is given at the bottom of the page. This is a free application and that's all you need.

So first you need to go to the files you have extracted and start with magdlr file. First you have to extract the files, for that you must right click and select the option extract file > choose magdlr folder > copy all > click Ok. And the same thing you must do to the ROM right click > choose Android folder > click Ok.

Once this process is done you have to refresh the ROM, this is not to be done on your SD card but on your ROM itself. This process runs very smoothly, there is no SD installation on it and it is actually on the device itself.

And the next thing you have to do is to flash the magdlr file using your boom loader to get the ROM loaded up on your device. For that open up the magdlr folder and you have to scroll down the files i.e. the ROM utilities and click on it, click allow and a new tab appears and you must tick that agreement content and click next. Before proceeding to this just make sure that you have 50% of battery life.

After powering up the device it changes to a black screen and shows a couple of options and what you want to do is choose option usb flasher, for selecting you got to use the volume key to go down and up and for selecting use the menu button and then you should see a sentence written as Android flash mode reusb and once you connect your device you are ready to flash.

So next thing you need to do is that you must connect your device to computer and then open up the folder ROM in the desktop and what you need to do is open the file in it and you can see a couple of folders and a file name daf to start your flash. You need to double click on it and you will see a page as shown below and this will basically give you some information about the process and a couple of warning issues. So make sure you read this one carefully and click next.

After that you will see a screen as shown below, this will basically let you know the process has began and it will take a few minutes for the USB connection. Once it is connected, the process begins so now we are ready to flash. And then the screen of the device shows loading data that means the flash is beginning and it will take a few minutes and then you can actually see the percentage of the installation. And while checking out the PC you can see the connection and inscribed on it "please wait while installation of the Android do not disconnect" and it take about 15 minutes after that your device is ready to flash.

Click on 'Windows hardware button' at main screen.

Go to 'Settings'.

Select 'Wireless & networks'

Check 'Mobile network ~ Use phone for data connection when WiFi is unavailable'.

Select "Mobile network ~ Set options for roaming, networks, APNs'.

Select 'Access Point Names'. Note -- A blank APNs page will be shown.

Click on 'Windows hardware button'. It will bring up 2 options ~ 'New APN' and 'Reset to default'.

Select 'New APN'.

Key in 'T-mobile.com' works with USA HTC HD2 devices by clicking on 'Name'. Note -- you can key in any name you want. I selected 'T-mobile.com'.

Key in 'ecp.t-mobile.com' by clicking on 'APN'. Note -- you can key in any APN you want. I selected 'ecp.tmobile.com'.

Click on 'Windows hardware button'.

Then click on 'Save'.

Select on 'My APN'.

You are done.
