Pros: Fantastic storyboard with an interesting story full of heart and great animation. Has many additional features compared to that of Dragon`s Lair.
Cons: Difficulty in progress as regular unclarity in character cues. Game is pretty short and Trials of games are not designed as we expected.

Review of the iPad/iPhone game The Act
The Act is story boarded game with lovingly presented ideas. But you are forced to rate the game so down that may even break your heart. This game will irritate you to no end when the great problems related to mechanics will keep you mad. The Act is an extremely great game in terms of presentation and innovation but fails to provide a clear cut game which an average user can wade through.
Storyline of The Act game
The Act starts by the introduction of Edgar, who is its protagonists, to you. Edgar is a window washer who is a down on in his luck. Edgar is now lining with his brother-cum-partner Wally, where both of them are trying to scratch a living together while Edgar keeping an eye on his brother. The moment Edgar turns his back on his brother Wally, just for a second, Wally climbed inside one among the windows he was washing.
The scenes after that is a mix of comedy due to errors which were with a patient who was subjected to a brain transplantation. The complicity of storyboard even complicates as Edgar hook up with one of the hospital nurse and suddenly fall in love.
Aim/goal in The Act game
So the quest of Edgar begin to infiltrate the hospital. The main aim or goal of Edgar by infiltrating the hospital is to rescue his brother and take out the little lady nurse whom Edgar hooked his eye on.
But the main issue is the security, who will never allow Edgar to just walk through to the hospital. So Edgar made a plan to get in, he disguises himself in a dress of doctor to camouflage as a doctor and make his way through the security corridor. Even becoming a fake doctor just by pulling a coat isn't that enough, people also expect you to do things when you wear a coat which will make you look as a doctor.
So Edgar had to really behave fake to bring an impression to others feeling him as to be a doctor, also in these times Edgar did not forget to behave like being a suave for his love. Edgar was ready to be involved in any type of adventurous event for the sake of his own love.
Gaming interface of The Act
This game is well animated according to the different situations, exactly matching animation throughout the game. And thus, the storyboard and the whole gameplay is very much joy to watch. The game also gives you the right hint at right time, the game even guides you when you are about to screw up by calling out every alerts and cautions like "No, no, move this way" or "move more gently" etc.
This specific unique hint system available in The Act is very helpful for anyone without even having much experience and will really make you love The Act game. Also, you have to follow the right direction by following all the instructions and hints very perfectly.
Controls in The Act game
The main thing you have to do in this game is to help Edgar out by controlling him. The gaming controls of this game is very simple and user friendly. Unlike other complicated controls in other games, The Act provides a smooth and fine controls. Here in this game you have to swipe your fingers over the touch screen to move left or right respectively.
It is important for you to know that the touches has to be very gentle and do not swipe over too quickly as it will lead Edgar to trip over and will result in messing up of the whole scene. On the other hand the pace must not be too slow, as this too will result in missing the opportunity of Edgar to act gently.
The Act is an amazing as well as an interesting game for you to get addicted with. The Act made mind blowing effects on its fan`s mind as it has brought many new features than its ancestor 'Dragon`s Lair'. The Act is a game where we have to move according to the body languages of the characters.
But any failure in this action will lose your whole scene and you have to redo the entire scene again and again until you get succeed. As this game has got a gorgeous animation, you won't feel bored for playing same scene over and over again. Even there are many tweaks which makes you satisfy to play this game more.
