Review of Apocalypse of Skyland I
Apocalypse of Skyland I has been developed by LeTang, developers of many other famous games like Constantine I and Fishing Girls. LeTang. Inc have already started developing a sequel to Apocalypse of Skylands which shows how confident the developers are of success of this game. The game is about a fearless hero who is to get the world rid of evil by his numerous dangerous weapons. It is a RPG styled game where you just have to be a hero and fight the evil in 70 hours of game play!
Storyline of Apocalypse of Skyland I The game starts with 2 characters, you and your friend who stays with your during other levels too. You have a tutorial to help you understand the controls and storyline. Basically, the game is about increasing your levels and getting more weapons which help you in fighting the enemy and the bosses. You do so by crystallizing the source of devil. The game can have 8 different game endings depending on how you play the game. There are five continents where you have to take on the enemy and destroy the bosses and finally, fight Chaos, the sealed devil who is extremely powerful.

How to play Apocalypse of Skyland I
You have two types of weaponry available with you, your individual weapons which can do varying attacks depending on the color of the weapon and the combo attacks which cause severe damage and are highly useful in boss levels.

To regain your health you have falling medicines which are used automatically or you can also buy drugs from the store. The other thing is your skill set to use your weapons. There are basically 3 sets of skills- Active Skills, Buff Skills and Passive Skills. Some of the skills are activated only after reaching a particular skill level, ability points and floating skills. The details of each skill set can be seen by assessing the menu. To guide you in the game play you have a Quest Log which will show you the task you have completed and have to complete to proceed forward.
Controls of Apocalypse of Skyland I

The controls of Apocalypse of Skyland I are simple except for a small problem with the movement keys. You cannot make a movement in the same direction by continuously pressing a particular direction button, rather to move continuously in a particular direction you need to press and hold the screen movement button and once released, to use it again first you need to use any other movement button. For example, if you have to move left, then press and hold the key instead of continuously tapping it because with continuous tapping you won't move. Once you have pressed and released the left button, you can't move to left before you press any other movement key. The other major control is the attack button shown by 2 crossed swords. Other than that, there are skill and item buttons, guest, menu, gems button and the Gift bag button.
Graphics and audio of Apocalypse of Skyland I The graphics are retro style just like the simple storyline. Better to play Apocalypse of Skyland on a smartphone rather than a tablet as the graphics can become too pixelated for comfortable play. The problem is quite serious while trying to read the instructions. The game is light and can be played on any device running on Android 2.1 or higher. There is an old Ninja film styled audio track in the game which adapts nicely during fights and other simple tasks but is not much fit for a RPG game. But considering that the graphics are also retro style, you can forgive the selection of the audio. The translation is poor just like in Fishing Girls game and you might have to figure some things out by yourself because the instructions sometime seem to go above the head because of poor English.
Conclusion Overall, there are more than a few problems in the game play and it would be nice if the developers put out an update to solve these issues. However, the gameplay of Apocalypse of Skyland I is nice and makes for a fun and interesting title to play and enjoy on your Android handheld. The varied endings add an exciting ting to the game and the 70 hours of gameplay is sufficient to keep you hooked to the game. Preferably, play it on a small screen device to have a comfortable experience.
