This is an article all about Windows 8 by Microsoft which is the most expected operating system with all latest technology and features. With this, Microsoft is trying to overcome the Apple's myth of leading the market with all latest tech and gadget products. So read this article to know more about Windows 8.
Windows 8 is currently the talk of the town. And whenever the talk starts vanishing, it comes up with a news that adds fuel to the fire. With Windows 8 coming closer to its release, it has introduced some previews over the last few months.
Changes in the last preview of Windows 8 from Windows Release Preview
The latest and most probably the last preview of
Windows 8
has incorporated the major changes from the previous previews and has fixed most of the bugs. Microsoft has made some changes to its upcoming operating system and promises better performance and will surely be user friendly.
All these changes have been deployed by taking the feedback from the normal users and the developers worldwide. Slight UI changes have been made in the Release Preview which is not quite noticeable. Also, there are other changes but we will not be able to notice them too.
Mobile is the way to go for Windows 8
The major changes and touch inspired interface have already hinted the company's interest in the tablets market. Along with Metro,
Microsoft Windows 8
brings in a new cloud storage system, USB and widget technology. The message is clear - Microsoft wants to transform the computers into mobile and social powerhouses. Many people doubt this move seeing the dominance of Apple Inc. in the market. iPad is ruling the tablets around the world and iPhone is doing the same in the smartphones. Apple Inc. has already become a dominant player in the market of tablets and smartphones; and we can see that iPad is slowly replacing computers and laptops.
Microsoft has sensed the growing market of tablets and smartphones and thus came out with something that is fully inspired by touch-based smartphones and tablets. It's clearly visible to us that Microsoft is planning to take on its arch rival, Apple by entering the tablets and smartphones market.
Companies like Acer and Asus have already demonstrated the
Windows 8 tablets
and hybrids at Computex, but it seems that Microsoft has other plans in its kitty. Microsoft reportedly concluded that it must have its own tablet and is involved in the hardware design too. This move will brand the tablet as a "Microsoft-manufactured tablet" and will put the company directly in a strong position against its giant rival Apple.
Apple has till now designed the software and hardware of all of its devices and that's the reason why its products are so reliable and the level of quality is high. Therefore, Microsoft too is trying its hands at the same strategy to offer the consumers around the world a high quality service that they have seen in Apple products.
Windows 8 RT
won't be only used in Microsoft tablets, but the leading PC makers around the world like Hewlett-Packard, Dell, Lenovo, Toshiba and a whole long list are working on a number of Windows 8 RT tablets and hybrids. Most of them are likely to be launched when Microsoft releases Windows 8 later this year.
With all this news around us, one thing that we surely can say that we are the consumers and we are to enjoy the best products. Because many tablets are being worked on, the race to get better than the other and to provide better specs than other will give us a wide range of products to chose from. So let's see, if Windows 8 tablet is going to rock the world or will Apple continue its dominance is the tablets and smartphone markets.
