In recent days, Acer has announced that many Iconia Tab tablets are going to be released in a short span of time and now the much awaited Acer's Iconia Tab A700 has finally come into the market with all the features, specifications & price details and ready for pre-order. Though the outer looks and features of Acer's Iconia Tab A700 are not that great but it's definitely a good tablet at a reasonable price.

Acer was one of the two Android tablet manufactures to introduce high-resolution "Full HD" 1920 by 1200 pixel display and the other being Asus. Acer's Iconia Tab A700 has a 16:10 aspect ratio display that supports 178 degrees viewing angle. It has a 10.1 inch LCD touch screen which weighs about 1.47 pounds.

Acer's Iconia Tab A700 has an internal storage memory of 32 GB and also has a micro SD slot that supports up to 64 GB expandable memory.

Acer's Iconia Tab A700 is made up of Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core processor, 1GB RAM and runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. It also has a micro USB port for the sake of charging and data transfer. It also has a micro HDMI port, Dolby Mobile 3 which has improved audio capture capabilities.

Acer's Iconia Tab A700 comes with some new features like integrated GPS and e-compass, 802.11 b/g/n wireless and Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR. Acer says the 9800 mAh will give at-least 10.5 hours battery backup.

Acer's Iconia Tab A700 has two cameras; the rear is of 5 mega pixel with autofocus and LED flash, while the front cam that is used for video calling is of 1 mega pixel.

Finally, Acer has announced the price details Acer's Iconia Tab A700 tablet, it's just $449.99 and people are suspecting that the 16GB model can be even cheaper (probably $350).

So you can start pre-ordering Acer's Iconia Tab A700 tablet and Acer's official website today itself for just $499.99 and is mostly likely to be shipped by Acer later this month. Currently Acer's Iconia Tab A700 tablet is only available in black and silver color.
