Tablet computers are the buzz word in today's scenario. Everyone wants to know about tablets, be updated about the additional features it has and in short have a firsthand experience on the tablet computers. Every country is envisaging some policies to ensure that their people are a part of this tablet PC revolution. For example India came up with the concept of Aakash tablets targeting students to get a flavour of the new technology. No doubt Apple tablets - the iPads are the leaders in the technology of tablets. However many other brands are trying out their hands on this technology with introducing new technologies and innovations.

Blending with the present situation here is Google rumoured to launch its new tablet - the Google Tablet PC - somewhere in July, 2012. The news though has been chaining for long has gained some strong evidence as has been reported by Digitimes.

What will be the specifications of Google Tablet?

Google tablet probably will be a seven inch tablet. Initially, it was said that Android 4.0 will be supporting it but presently rumours are that Google Tablet will be envisaging Android 5.0 operating system with Nvidias Tegra 3 Quad core processor. Probably the delay in the launch of Google tablet is because of its implementation of Android 5.0 which might be launched parallel. It is also rumored that device will come pre-installed with Android 5.0: Jelly bean. Now that will surely be a milestone achievement for Google if it's successful.

When will Google Tablet be launched?

The Google I/O conference to be held on 27th and 28th of June, 2012 will be a witness to the new Google tablet, if rumors can be trusted. The device will be launched in this conference and the exact specifications and features will be revealed there itself. Most probably in July end Google tablet PC will be available in the market.

Price of Google tablet

Although, initially Google tablet was rumoured to be somewhere around 249$, the recent saying is that it will be some where around 199$ or even less. Google is inventing its tablet with Asustech Computers which is working on its technology to embed maximum features innovatively in order to reduce its price. It would be neck to neck with Kindle fire and other range of tablets.

Google - will the brand name bring a difference in its demand?

Well, Google is a brand name and yes it has a label of customer satisfaction attached to its mantra of success. Google is consumer specific and it knows exactly what are its users demand and works accordingly. With the high demand of tablet as a device which is just bigger than smart phones and more compact than Computers or laptops, tablets seems to be the perfect need of the users today. With implementation of new technology, price being really cheap and Google brand name as an added support Google tablet is sure to bring about a new wave in tablet world and is being awaited with a lot of anticipation.
