Google Offer Free Wi-Fi For Indian Users
Google , the internet giant will now offer free Wi-Fi for Indians. We all know Google has launched their new social networking site Google+ in late 2011.But it wasn't that much success as they expected. Google+ is mostly used by business people for their Business purpose. It couldn't attract the young people so much. With this in mind, Google has come up with a unique kind of promotion to their social Networking site Google+ by offering free Wi-Fi to all Indians.
Now Indians can access unlimited usage of Google+ and 10 minutes of Youtube per Week. Well, this 10 Minutes free Youtube per week is not really worth for anyone. Also, you can access to other websites too, but its under Paid Service .
This is a Tie-up Promotion by both Google and O-Zone Networks and the company is looking for long term contract. Google is really successfull in mobile platforms ,as they mentioned 40-45% of searches are done on Mobiles. However, lets wait and watch how far does this promotion work.
Up to date ,O-Zone Networks has established more than 5,000 hotspots in the country to provide Wi-Fi services. Today, most of the people are using Wi-Fi enabled devices, So the usage and importance of Wi-Fi hotspots are raised. This shows that the people are now realising the power of Wi-Fi. India is one among the fastest raising Country in Internet world.
