Nvidia Tegra 3 powered tablet goes with Windows 8

Yesterday in CES 2012, everyone where to happy to see the live demo of Windows 8 running on a tablet which was powered by Nvidia Tegra , which is latest processor which was designed with ARM architecture. Well, Consumer Electronic Show 2012 has been power filled with many gadgets and technologies firing up and catching the eyes for fever. The latest news from CES 2012 is that Nvidia gave a demo on Windows 8 running on a tablet which powered by Nvidia's latest and advanced processor called Tegra 3. This new processor Tegra 3 from Nvidia is built on the ARM architecture for the first time. Earlier the processor will be built only on x86 which the AMD and Intel use. They dominating were the processor market but now this time we have the Nvidia's Tegra 3 which was fully built on ARM architecture.

As I said above that processors from Intel and AMD were dominating the market before because, till now they were the only processors which were supported to Windows. But now on Windows is going to support ARM processors also which lead the other processors to go in vain. Mobile devices have already started to use this ARM processor as they are more energy efficient. Also it is said that they gives us high performance when compared to other processors and with good battery life. Tegra 3 which is the latest processor from Nvidia is the perfect example of this.

Last year in the Build Conference, Microsoft said that they are going to add support to ARM processors in Windows 8. But we had never seen it in live rather just words from them. But here in CES 2012, Nvidia showed in live where a tablet which was developed by Nvidia Tegra 3 had Windows 8 running in it. We could see Windows 8 running in Nvidia's Tegra 3 with ARM architecture in a tablet live.

But no one was allowed to touch the tablet. Also they were not sure what kind of tablet it which had Windows 8 running on it. Just they could see that the tablet just had Nvidia branding over the top. But there some rumors claiming up it was Asus tablet as they had earlier reported that they were developing a tablet with Nvidia's Tegra 3 processor in it. They also Nvidia demonstrated some popular games in the tablet to show that they were running perfectly on Windows 8 supporting ARM architecture.

This would be the New Year prospects and mainly the CEO of Nvidia was very happy about this venture. This year there would be lot of opportunities for the tablet makers as there is a tough war running between the Windows 8 and Google's Ice Cream Sandwich. There was very much excitement among the consumers in CES 2012 to see many tablets which are going to be released along with Windows 8. CES 2012 is gaining more momentum as to consumers are looking forwards for all Windows 8 based products.
