Windows To Go:

Windows To Go is an exciting feature from Windows 8 where it allows you to boot from a USB device. Yes, this feature allows Windows 8 to boot directly from the Live USB which is known as the USB device. You can also load and boot the user's programs, settings and files with this Windows To Go feature. The Windows To go is coded and developed in such a way that it can work with both the 2.0 and 3.0 USB's. This feature also has the legacy that in work on with both the UDFI and NIOS firmware. Microsoft says you cannot Hibernate with this Windows To Go features. But also there is another interesting feature with this Windows To go, where Windows will freeze automatically if the USB drive is removed. Also it will continue to operate if the USB drive is plugged in within 60 seconds of removal.

Microsoft on talking about Windows To Go features states that, "Windows To Go is a new feature in Windows 8 that enables enterprise administrators to create USB drives containing complete, managed Windows images that users can use to boot and run Windows on any Windows 7 or Windows 8 capable computer. Windows To Go makes it possible for employees to use a managed device whether they work from home, a client office or in a free seating environment. This session will discuss Windows To Go, its hardware requirements and building compatible and complementary software."

Windows Store in Windows 8:

You are more familiar with Apple App Store from Apple. Well, now comes the Windows App Store which is just similar to Apple App Store which was introduced by Microsoft just to compete with Apple. Windows Store allows the user to browse through that Windows Application in the windows Store and also the developer can publish their Metro-Style App which they coded and developed that works and supported by Windows 8. Microsoft also told that Windows App Store is the only place where the users can access the Metro-Style Apps. They also showed some demo video on how to work with this Windows Store

Windows 8 User Interface:

As I said first, Windows 8 will feature some extra-ordinary and stunning User Interface. You will experience something which you have not seen or used before. I would just say that Windows 8 UI will be the best feature of all. The User Interface is the mind blowing feature of Windows 8 which is redesigned in a Metro-Style way. Also on speaking about this User Interface, it just simplifies your task wherein it shows you the most important information and also gives the full control to you. The User Interface feature of Windows 8 is designed in such a way that it provides a fluid and extensive interaction and navigation with touch or either through mouse and keyboard.

The Corporate Vice President of Windows, Julie Larson-Green when asked about the Windows 8 User Interface she just stated that, "Everything that's great about Windows 7, is better in Windows 8." She also released some screen shorts which would make the customers more eager for the official release of Windows 8.

Windows 8 Logon Screen:
Windows 8 Logon Screen will be quite different and unusual from your older style like typing a password to unlock the screen. Here Windows 8 has the stunning effect where it can just be unlocked by tapping on right areas of the screen.

Windows Defender, the security guard for your system which comes with your Windows OS has been upgraded. Earlier we had this Windows Defender to be first released with Windows Vista. Then also we had with Windows 7 with some additional features. And now you are going to find some more up gradation to it with Windows 8. This will lead to edge our other third part antivirus and anti-malware programs. From Windows 8, the Windows Defender will protect your system from all types of malware such as virus, worms, Trojans and rootkits which would eventually become a full-fledged anti-malware solution. Windows Defender in Windows 8 will also provide real-time detection and protection to your system. This would protect and safe guard your system from malware threats and helps to have secured boot for your machine.

Internet Explorer 10 in Windows 8:

By this time you would have downloaded the Windows 8 Developer Preview. Well, in that you have seen the Metro-Version of Internet Explorer 10 and not the full version. But I guess it would have not supported any browser plugins and extension like Microsoft Silverlight and Adobe Flash. Internet Explorer 10, will feature full screen browsing mode in the Windows Developer Preview by default. It also implements turbocharges HTML5 performance, new HTML5 capabilities and also adds some security options for Web applications while connecting to internet which just makes your web access to ease.

Windows 8 System Requirements:

On talking about System Requirement for Windows 8, there is nothing much to have. It is just the same old requirements which you are having for Windows 7. Windows 8 will run in all system both PC's and Laptops which is currently having Windows 7 to it. Anyway, I will be clear with minimum system requirement which you need for running Windows 8.

Processor: 1GHz or faster (32-bit or 64-bit processor)
RAM: 1GB (32-bit) or 2GB (64-bit)
HD Space: 16GB for 32-bit or 20GB for 64-bit

Windows 8 Release Date:

Hope you excited to know this. Well, even I'm waiting for the release date. But till now there no official date told from the Microsoft Inc. about the Windows 8. But it is expected to be released in the mid-late of 2012. However, this is too early for us to expect or predict the release as still the development process is going on with Windows 8. So, let's keep our finger crossed and wait for their launch soon. Probably we will be getting the official release of Windows 8 Beta Version soon by the next month end. As now we have got the Windows 8 Developer Preview which is known as the Pre-Beta version. So yet we have to receive the Beta Version of Windows 8 and then comes the full version of Windows 8, the most awaited operating system of the year 2012.
