The members of the chruch feels too proud to be a part of 'Copimism' which gives an end to their one year long quest to get recognized as a religion. After failing in two attempts, the Church managed to organize a way of prayer and meditation followed by the members which finally satisfied the authorities giving it recognition as a religion. The Church does not follow any belief in gods or any super natural phenomena while do keep belief in communication as sacred.

The followers of the 'Church of Kopimism' are called 'Kopimists' which means copy me. The church holds CTRL+C (Copy) and CTRL + V (Paste) as sacred symbols. The group which started in 2010 hopes the organization would be able to get more followers as many will be motivated to join them in the days to come. The Missionary of Church could gather their name in top headlines of newspapers after the recent news regarding its official declaration of being recognized as a religion has kept the official website of Church of Kopimism http://kopimi.com/kopimi/ down for hours. The members joining the church have gone up to 3,000 since it got organized in 2010.

While on one side where companies label file sharers as pirates, kopimists urge people to copy information and share.
