How upgrade to Windows 8 using Microsoft streamline setup process

How to upgrade online to Windows 8 from Windows 7, XP and Vista using Microsoft streamlining Process is given here. Using Streamlining facility of Microsoft you can upgrade to Windows 8 from Windows 7 in minutes. Detailed steps for installing or upgrading Windows 8 are provided here.
We already have some articles which provide you the detailed steps for installing Windows 8. Now the Microsoft has revealed the upgrade option for Windows 8. The upgrading process of earlier Windows OS like Windows 7 and Windows vista was a tough task. Even Microsoft has agreed this through their official blog. The upgrade of Microsoft Windows 7 needs about four wizards, 60 windows and many mouse clicks. So Microsoft understands that many users keep away from upgrade due to this tough task. Now Microsoft has introduced a new interface called Microsoft Streamlining process to upgrade Windows 8 online. Microsoft promises that Windows 8 upgrade will take place with only 11 mouse clicks.
How to upgrade Windows 8 online using Microsoft streamline setup Process
By the new Microsoft streamline set up process you don't need to type the 25-digit product key during installation. During the download of Windows 8 the "pre-key" will be automatically downloaded and you don't need to enter these keys.
Step 1- Scanning the system to determine the compatible software
The first thing which appears is scanning the system for looking system requirements and to determine the compatibility. The compatibility report will be like this.
You can also see the detailed compatibility report which shows the list of software which supports Windows 8 and the software which does not support Windows 8. The compatibility data contains compatibility of retail software, OEM preinstalled software, and peripherals. The detailed compatibility report will be like this.
If particular software is not compatible you can get advice to make it compatible from "How to make it work" window.
Step 2- Downloading Windows 8 online
After the compatibility check you will be forwarded to an integrated download manager which downloads Windows 8 to your computer. Since the wizard has already checked the system properties desired version of Windows 8 will be automatically selected. The downloading window of Windows 8 will be like this.
Step 3- Creating bootable media for Windows 8
After the download of Windows 8 you will be asked to save Windows 8 in a bootable media. The bootable media can be USB or DVD.
Step 4- Keeping old files
The next step is to keep the old files in Windows. There is an option to keep Windows setting personal files and apps; Personal files only and clearing your all old files. The settings may be different depending upon the current OS. For Windows 7 users the upgrading process allows you to transfer application, windows settings and user account and files. For Windows Vista users application transfer is not allowed and for XP users only user accounts and file transfer are allowed.
Step 5- Changing system settings
During the installation process you will be asked to change some of your system settings. It may be a uninstalling an application, freeing up disk space, or suspending BitLocker. Earlier in Windows 7 upgrade process you will only see the warning messages and you have to exit the installation process and you need to restart the installation. But in Windows 8 upgrade process you are getting an actionable compatibility report which helps you to solve the issue directly without quiting the installation process.
After these 5 steps you can successfully upgrade to Windows 8 from your old operating systems.
