Windows 8 online data backup service is derived from cloud computing technique. Some users are not familiar that what is cloud computing? It is a technique of storing bulk of data online on web servers without decomposing the performance of web server. Read this article to know about Windows 8 online backup services implementation using cloud computing technique.

Whenever we are using any application software or any utility program in Windows environment then first thing that requires is to install software in computer system. It requires installing it in safe location so that you can access the backup copy of software package any time you require. It is always difficult to keep your hard disk data safe from foreign matters. So, best thing is to make a backup copy in external devices like CD/ DVD. But still there is a fear of losing your CD/DVD or its crashing. Microsoft comes with a genuine solution which allows you to backup data online using new technique of cloud computing.

We know that backups play essential role in safety of your system to restores the system back to original state in which it was running earlier. The latest technology of cloud computing has attracted many local and international companies and gained popularity over the course of last few years. It is expected that in coming years, it will expand its roots to entire world. I have one live example of it. As you know that earlier, you were getting slow internet speed that required high accessing time but now these issues have been resolved. If anyone has not noticed the reason then I will explain you, it is cloud computing which allows the storage of data on web servers and offers multiple tasking environments on web server through the help of which multiple users at same time access the information from web server. The fast context switching improves the performance and speed of web servers and thus it fastened the internet world. Cloud computing technique is also responsible for falling online storage cost.

Earlier, Windows users were fully dependent on third party vendors for storing data online. Moreover, backup solution based companies charge large amount for storing data and it is Windows OS’ responsibility to remind them about missing data. Thus, Microsoft decided to provide online backup service to its customers. It is Windows Azure service which integrates Microsoft online services and Windows 8 client's backup service into a single platform.

Microsoft provides login name and password to its customers so that anytime any user can login their accounts and verify data backup functionality. Windows 8 OS also includes roaming charges for customers which will vary from place to place. It is not clear that online backup service will be available as free subscription package or some fee will be charged for it, but the roaming charges are confirmed. This step of storing data online comes from Windows 8 OS. It will be interesting to see what else Microsoft is providing to its customers.
