From the morning I am busy in installing Windows 8 operating system in my VMware Workstation. Procedure of Installing Windows 8 is simple and I succeeded in it. I am testing the new Windows 8 operating system in my VMware Workstation from the beginning of the day. Although I am using Windows 8 from the morning, I am unable to use single Windows 8 App in VMWare Workstation. I clicked several times on the Windows 8 Apps, but none of them are working.

To make Windows 8 Apps work in VMware Workstation, I tried different ways, but none of my procedures succeeded. In the evening I got a solution for this. Accidentally, I clicked on the notification which shows "Install VMware Tools". When I clicked on the notification, a pop-up menu has been displayed, which is asking permission to install VMware Tools in my guest OS. I accepted the request, VMware Tools are installed on my Windows 8 operating system. After installation of VMware Tools, Windows 8 asked for a Restart. After restarting surprisingly, all my Windows 8 Apps are working fine. This is the thing what I missed from the morning.

To get Windows 8 Apps work in your VMware Workstation, you have to install VMware Tools. You can do it in two ways. One way is to click on the notification which shows at the bottom of your VMware Workstation. The other way is to going to the Tools menu in the VMware Workstation and to click on Install VMware Tools.
