Apple iPhone 5 is not released yet and we are waiting for Apple iPhone 5 release date in India. According to sources, Apple iPhone 5 offers new feature of working in dual mode i.e. CDMA/GSM which will be supportive for customers to switch their networks when required. In this article I will explain new features of Apple iPhone 5 in India.

We know that Apple upcoming Smartphone is still waiting official approval in India. It will expected to be launched in India in year 2012. While talking about its details, we come to know that it is included in list of world single phones that support multiple networks namely CDMA as well as GSM. CDMA is used by Verizon/Sprint in United States whereas GSM is used by AT&T and T-mobile in United States as well. This news came from Verizon executive who claim that Apple iPhone 5 will have dual mode network.

Apple iPhone 5 app store has shown many popular apps on the iOS platform. Recently, a major increase is seen in the registered applications from single mobile phone. Some people believe that increase is only because of leaked dual mode network information. This app is tested on iOS 5 platform that offers two distinct sets of mobile network codes. These coded keywords can be used by the system to uniquely identify mobile service providers.

When we see Apple in the past then we got evidence that Apple were good at producing GSM phones because first phone released by Apple was GSM based and in year 2007 but CDMA version comes in the beginning of year 2011. It will be nice to see integration of both carriers because it makes sense that combine efforts of both networks works fine in single mobile device.

It would be great news for customers where main network used for mobile computing is CDMA; it belongs to countries like U.S, India, Argentina, Japan and many more. This feature of Apple iPhone 5 will offer flexibility to travel with the device anywhere in the world because switching context option is there to switch GSM to CDMA or vice-versa.

If above given feature proves its worth in Apple iPhone 5 then it will be considered as best unveiled feature. Moreover, this feature will add more lust for Apple iPhone family. In India, it will be released next year and we are eagerly waiting for its release date.
