New Privacy features in Facebook

Read this article to know more about recent changes in Privacy control feature in Facebook. Recently, Facebook announced that they are going to provide more privacy features in their social networking site.



 


When Google launched their social networking site Google+, all the social networking users appreciated Google+, since they given more priority towards user's security concern not like that of Facebook.

Since from its starting, many Facebook users criticized Facebook due to lack of security. Yesterday, Facebook announced few changes to their Social networking site with which people can know who can see everything they post and they can block unwanted photos and other items which were tagged by others from their profile page.

With the new changes, it will be easier for people to understand who will be seeing their posts which were posted on their Wall. They can control what others post on them. These changes will gradually roll-out and they will appear for everyone within a few days. Facebook promised that they will keep a video tour on how to use these new security features when the options are available to all.

With the new Facebook changes, once can control their content with options like Public, Friends, Custom. These options will be available next to the users post. Users can click on the small drop-down menu icon which is present at the upper right.

With the new changes, users can able to see who can see all the content on their profile page, as well as they can see the comments which they make on other people's posts and photos. Eventually, Facebook will allow users to include smaller groups of people to share with lists which were created by them. Users can change the status update after it is posted by clicking on the drop-down menu which is next to each post.

Now, Facebook users can approve or reject any tag which were placed by their friends. Like in Google+, you can see how your profile page looks to other by using View Profile option which will be present at the top of your profile.
