How to unlock BSNL 3G data card to use other SIMs

Many people want to use other SIM in their BSNL 3G data card. Because now a days BSNL is running very slow as compared to others. But they cannot do so. Because BSNL data card does not support any other SIM. But don't worry. In this article I have explained how to use your BSNL 3G data card for SIMs other than BSNL. Yes it is absolute possible. Here you can see it.

Hi, you must be thinking of getting a new data card as your existing data card doesn't support airtel, docomo, aircel or reliance etc.

You must have seen that whenever you insert a SIM other then BSNL in your BSNL 3G data card, a message says "Invalid SIM" and the program closes.

But now, you can unlock your data card for other SIMs by doing some registry settings.

For this you must have some registry knowledge and any version of windows only.
OK, let me explain it.

First go to your registry editor.
To open registry editor open run and type "regedit" then press enter.
Then under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE open SOFTWARE and open LinkTop3G.
Then under LinkTop3G edit the engineer's value.
Set its value from 1 to 0.
It's done. But one thing.

Now restart BSNL 3G.

To access internet you must do the connection setting from BSNL 3G program on.
In the number field type *99# and in the APN field type the access point of the service provider you have chosen.
For example
APN of aircel is aircelweb
APN of BSNL is bsnlnet.
