In this article, I am going to discuss about ban of Advertisements of Google Plus in Facebook. Facebook recently banned an advertisement which is promoting Google Plus. The advertisement is from a App developer which says to add him in Google Plus.
Google Plus is the social networking site from Google. Google recently started this social networking site. Google+ got huge response from the people. Though Google Plus is in field trail, with in a two weeks span of time, ten million people used Google Plus.
When compared to other social networking sites, Google Plus is quite different from them. Google Plus given high importance to security, which lacks in many social networking sites. Google's approach to social networking site is different. Google Plus revolves about a concept called "Circles" where you can create different circles, add different people to different circles.
As Google Plus getting importance day by day, Facebook started new innovative things to retain their users. Recently, Facebook started Video chat, and also users can call to their Skype contacts through Facebook Video chat. Facebook started a new feature, you can notice live streaming of comments from your friends on your home page. Facebook started different new things to retain their 700 million customers.
Facebook stopped propagation of Google Plus advertisements in their website. Recently, An App developer Michael Lee Johnson, tried to advertise in Facebook. His Advt title is
"Add Michael to Google+."
and the summary is "If you're lucky enough to have a Google+ account, add Michael Lee Johnson, Internet Geek, App Developer, Technological Virtuoso."
At first Facebook approved the advertisement and then they noticed that, Michael is propagating
Google Plus
. So they banned the advt and sent a mail to Michael stating
"Your account has been disabled. All of your adverts have been stopped and should not be run again on the site under any circumstances. Generally, we disable an account if too many of its adverts violate our Terms of Use or Advertising guidelines. Unfortunately we cannot provide you with the specific violations that have been deemed abusive. Please review our Terms of Use and Advertising guidelines if you have any further questions."
From the banning of Michael's advertisement, we can conclude that Facebook is not going to leave any feature which will make Facebook users to stay on the website and also they are not going to leave any advertisement which propagates Google Plus.
