In this article, I am going to discuss about "Sync.in". It is an web based real time editor. Many web based editors are available in the internet. Google also has its web based editor called "Google Doc's". With the help of Sync.in, users can create or edit the documents online, they can share the document with a link to their friends or workers and they can also edit the document simultaneously.

What is Sync.in ?


Sync.in is a web-based real time editor with which multiple people can edit the same text document simultaneously. Users participating in the document, can see the changes in real-time with each editors text in the different color. Users can also chat in the chat box which appears in the sidebar allowing the participants to communicate.

How Sync.in works ?


Sync.in works on the principle of real time collaboration. When different people edit the same document at a time, any changes which were made in the documents are instantly reflected on everyone's screen. Every user who starts typing will be assigned a different color. With the help of this users can collaborate and conference on text documents. It is mainly useful for meeting notes, brainstorming, project planning, training etc.

In Sync.in anyone can create a new text document, which is known as a "note". Each note will be assigned a separate URL and anyone who knows the URL can edit the note and participate in the document collaboration. Users can share the note using the "share this note" feature provided in each note. URL's can also be shared on social networking sites. Sync.in software auto-saves the document at each word while participants can permanently save specific versions at any time.

Apart from the free version, Sync.in has also a Pro version. In Pro version, it allows teams to create a secure site on a sync.in sub-domain with users for everyone in the team. Desktop client is available for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux. With the help of desktop client users can create new notes and launch notes directly from their desktop.

How to create a new note in Sync.in ?


Creating a new note in Sync.in easy. Just open the website, a new note will be created for you with a different URL. with the help of Sync.in in Pro version of desktop client you can browse through the entire list of notes in your Sync.in team site. The list displays the contributors of the note along with the last date and time the notes were edited.
