Facebook recently announced that they are going to launch an exiting feature in their website this week. Facebook kept the "exciting feature" as secret. They don't want to disclose the news. But many rumors spread across the exciting feature in the internet. Maximum of them says that Facebook is going to integrate Skype in its chat. In this article I am going to discuss about Skype and its integration with Facebook.

What is Skype ?


As Facebook is famous for social networking, Skype is famous for free video calling service in the world. Most of the internet users who wants to make video calls, prefer Skype as their first option. By registering with Skype users can make free PC to PC video calls and by buying some credits, they can make calls to mobile and land line numbers also. They can even send SMS. Skype's voice and video clarity made it as top in the list of VOIP. Recently, Microsoft purchased Skype. As per rumors, Microsoft is going to integrate Skype in its upcoming operating system i.e, in Windows 8.

Skype in Facebook ?


Recently, Facebook announced that they were planning to launch something new feature coming week. Though they kept the feature as secret, many of the rumors spread in the internet that Facebook is going to implement Skype calling, in Facebook chat.

We may thing it is Facebook's answer to the Hangout feature in the Google Plus, which is a new social networking site from Google which was recently. Facebook partnered with Skype in the year 2010 on Skype 5.0, which allows users to sign in with Facebook account and then they can use Skype to connect with their friends. There is a Facebook application called SkypeMe which allows calling to Skype from Facebook.

Now, Microsoft is going to war with Google Plus by allowing Skype to integrate with Facebook. The war between Microsoft and Google started again.
