In this article, I am going to discuss about Internet Explorer 10. With the release of Internet Explorer 10, Microsoft in-directly shown how Windows 8 will be. IE 10 preview 2 launched recently after a week of preview 1. The new Internet Explorer 10 has lot of features and high security features when compared to its old browsers.

Internet Explorer 10 shown its way to Windows 8 operating system ?

Microsoft released a new Platform Preview of IE10, which arrived just about 10 weeks after the first release of IE10 Platform Preview 1. The second release isn't a big deal for general internet users. However, if you are a web developer, you may want to have a close look on Internet Explorer 10.

The second preview lacks a location bar and basic navigation buttons. At this moment, it's not preferred to use IE10 PP2 as your daily browser to check your email. It is a showcase of new features and technology of Microsoft's platform direction.

In Internet Explorer 10, support for HTML5 has been totally enhanced. When compared to IE 9, IE 10 has significant changes. According to HTML5test.com, IE10 PP2 now scores 237/450, up from 146/450 of IE9. Chrome 14 currently is at 342/450 and Firefox 5 at 295/450.

Microsoft has done an effective job showcasing their best ones. There is a range of demonstrations that shows what IE10 can do in a browser window when both Chrome and Firefox are not really suited to run these tests. IE10 shines in GPU acceleration when compared to all other browsers. IE10 has huge implications for web developers.

Internet Explorer 10 will be an integral part of Windows 8 operating system. IE10 will be the enabler of web applications that are designed to run inside Windows 8 and developers will have to understand the inner workings of IE10 to participate in the launch of Windows 8 next year.
