Most of us use CD-ROM to install windows operating system using installation CD's. But what will you do if you don't have a CD-ROM or your CD-ROM is not functioning properly. For this reason you should know how to install windows using pen drive. Most of us would have come across virus attack in our system and we would have been forced to reinstall windows.

For this reason you should know how to install windows using pen drive. Most of us would have come across virus attack in our system and we would have been forced to reinstall windows. At that time installing Windows XP through Pen Drive will help you.
First of all we need a pen drive with enough storage capacity to save the setup files. After having the setup files in our pen drive we should setup the boot device in the advanced BIOS features. The new version Mother Boards would have a option to set USB as boot device. Set USB as boot device. Save the Bios settings and restart your computer. Then you run the setup file and do the installation as you normally do with your CD-ROM. Up to my knowledge installation through pen drive works well for Windows XP. I believe this procedure will work even for other operating systems. Hope this will help you in installing window XP through your pen drive.
