Microsoft CEO Mr Steve Ballmer has made it clear that the Successor of Windows 7 is named Windows 8 and also said that windows 8 will be launched in mid of 2012 at Microsoft Developer Forum in Japan. Even though Microsoft came with defense that it was mistake from Mr Ballmer, it is almost sure that Next generation windows will be out by 2012

Microsoft Finally confirmed the name of Latest version of Windows as Windows 8,Microsoft CEO Mr Steve Ballmer made

remark on the coming Versions OF windows as Windows 8 in Microsoft developer forum at Japan on Wednesday( 24 may 2011), and he also made it clear that windows 8 will be out by 2012.

All these time Microsoft were referring Windows 8 as Windows 7's successor, Windows Next" or the "next generation of Windows." Windows 7 the latest from Microsoft was launched in 2009, from the time of its launch the speculations over the Next Generation windows, Windows 8 has begun , Company kept no time to the launch of windows 8 but it is clear now with the statement of Mr Ballmer that the Successor of Windows 7 will be out by 2012.

What make it certain is the defence by Microsoft, in the company's new press release stating that it was a mistake from Mr Ballmer "It appears there was a misstatement," a Microsoft spokesperson told media" he also added that the date or Name of the successor of Windows 7 is yet to be decided
It s a double blow for the company that some of Windows 8 builds were leaked on the internet earlier this year , the first build to leak was Windows 8 build 7850 it was followed by 2 other windows build Windows 8 Build 7955 and . Windows Server 8 build 7959 , two of the employ of Microsoft were fired for the same reason

We have a brand new user interface. We've added touch, and ink, and speech. And yet, as we look forward to the next generation of Windows systems, which will come out next year, there's a whole lot more coming. As we progress through the year, you ought to expect to hear a lot about Windows 8. Windows 8 slates, tablets, PCs, a variety of different form factors. The new version of windows will support Intel, ADM and ARM architectures "
