Useful Shortcuts in Google Chrome

Google chrome has gained a lot of reputation in a very short time due to its unique features. It has a number of shortcuts and in this post I will explain all these shortcuts in Google Chrome that will help you to save your time. However problems like crashes had been associated with the chrome. However I do think that chrome has a lot of potential to replace the dominant Mozilla among the browsers available.


Here are some tips to use Chrome effectively:
1)If you want to search for any keyword in the omnibar all yopu need to do is to type the ? sign or just press Ctrl+K or Ctrl+E on your keyboard.

2)The omnibar in Chrome ahs a number of unique features. For instance using the omnibar you can make conversion or find meaning of words. To find the meaning type define:words on the omnibar.

3)Another unique feature present in Chrome that users are not aware of is the option to increase the size of comment box on any box. All you need to do this is to stretch the box with arrows.

4)You can use the Inspect Elements feature in Chrome to find out that particular web page is using which applications of the computer.

5)You can even change the search engine without opening a new tab. This is really something cool. All you need is to right ckick on the omnibar and choose "Edit search engine".

6)There is a drag and drop facility available using which you can create separate browser window.

7)There is a shortcut for private browsing in chrome . All you need to do is press Ctrl+Shift+N which starts the "Incognito Mode" .

8)Another cool shortcut is that you can see a cool moving screensaver by typing about:internets in Chrome's Omnibar .

9)You can also stepGoogle from accessing what you searched by by right-clicking on the Address Bar and un-checking "Use a suggestion service to help complete searches and URLs typed in the address bar".

10)There is option to make shortcuts for web pages that appeal to you . You will have to use "Create application shortcuts".

11)When you type about:memory inside the Omnibar it will show you a comparison between the memory used by two different web browsers.

12)You can see web history page in chrome with the shortcut Ctrl+H.

13)In order to hide the Chrome's bookmark toolbar all you need to do is to press Ctrl+B.

14)Have you ever wondered how to login on two different accounts of the same email provider at the same time. This is possible with chrome. For this you will have to login on the accounts in two different modes-normal mode and Incognito Mode.
