Every process in Windows 8 operating system requires memory space for its execution which is provided by job scheduler and decides which process to execute and which process to terminate. Therefore, we can say that it monitors currently running processes and decide their order of execution. Therefore, through this article I will explain to you how Windows 8 job scheduler manages the currently running processes.

What is the Job Scheduler?

Job scheduler is the system software which is mainly there in the system to manage the unattended background execution of processes such that each process can be executed on first come first serve basis and all running processes are put in the queue and executed one after the another in sequential order. The queue of jobs is put in the storage device and executed same as that of batch processing operating system. The execution is also considered as distributed resource management system which manages the execution of currently running processes such that full utilization of the computer CPU takes place.

At the same time, the number of resources availability is of key importance and allocate the resources to various processes using device management. The license key for the running processes is checked by it by allowing more than one user to use the CPU by dividing the RAM space in partitions.
