Many times, It is required to make changes in Windows registry settings when registry editor is disabled by administrator then we are need of open source operating system that allows users to interface with the kernel of operating system. So, through this article I am discussing will Windows 8 will be open source operating system? If yes, then what are its advantages?

When we are talking about an open source operating system then the first thing that strike in our mind is Linux operating system because in this operating system kernel of the system is made such that anyone can make changes in its registry settings because requires knowledge of commands and due to this reason only Linux operating system has gained so much importance. Basically, open source developer means full control over the system using commands which is complex to remember. Therefore, many security organizations are making use of the Linux commands for maintaining security in computer system because it is difficult and complex to remind all the commands and due to this reason only, hackers and crackers are ready themselves for Linux programming so that they can break all locks of security in all versions of operating systems.

All and all we can say that open source operating system is one which allows users to make changes in the operating system kernel that acts as the interface between user and hardware. One thing that is always motivating the users is that there is no required criterion for open source programming, anyone can make changes in window versions using Linux programming

Will Windows 8 an open source operating system?

The Windows 8 is the new release that is expected to be there in market in year 2012 and we have many expectations from Windows 8 operating system that also includes security settings according to which we can maintain security within the system. Many users are expecting new security changes in Windows 8 that allow users to make changes within Windows 8 registry settings according his/her requirement.

The main reason that forces developers and programmers to make Windows 8 open source is to prevent personal data of organizations from hackers and crackers by maintaining unique key password for data accessing that will not allow any user to access data from database, as commands and file name needs to be required for performing any function. Moreover, new programming environment may be using open source coding help that will starts at lower level with the integration with Win32 applications that includes C and VB classes.

The Commands used must needs to be remembered from time to time because these commands are tools for making interaction with any hardware and software interface. This new interface will allows more users to get in touch with Windows 8 operating system because according to estimations, Windows 8 will repeat the same revolution which has taken place in case of Linux operating system in 19th century that forces the young generation to keep in touch with Windows 8 operating system.
