Always make sure that at the first attempt the user name and password should not be correct that is user name and password must be differ because fake web page will not redirect you to the login page and does not show notification of missing password and username. Always check the certificate of the page because it will consist of the name of the organization to which that index page belongs and in case you are using the fake page then the most of the certificate fields are empty and to check the originality you have click on the icon of the website which appears before the web address and then click on the more information tab and then from the security tab see the certificate and you will get to know that whether that web page consist of server address or address of the local machine and this will help you to know that status of the login page.
