In this article, i will explain some short but tricky technique so that you can easily lock/hide the folders without using any external Software.
Here i am going to show you some tricks by using which anyone can easily hide their important or personal informations(folders). Although we have a number of softwares to provide the security to informations. But here i am going to show you something new and cool for which you do not need any software.
1. By using command prompt:
It is very simple trick just follow the instructions and you can easily hide your folders.
1. Goto Run type "
cmd
"
2. Specified the Drive(c,d,e), where your folder is located, you can
change your drive by using "
cd\
" then "d:"
3. Type "
attrib new folder +s +h
" press Enter. Here i have supposed my
folder name as "
new folder
" so i have used this. you can use your
folder name which you want to have safe and secure.
4. Thus your folder will be invisible for all.
5. To get it back just type "
attrib new folder -s -h
"
6. Please ignore quotation mark.
2. By using Locker:
Here you can make your own lock under which your folder will be fully protected from anyone else it is very easy and simple to do but it gives you high security for your folder.
Open notepad paste the code "ren tech.{0000031D-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}" ,save it as unlock.bat.Again repeat the same for the code "ren tech tech.{0000031D-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}" ,save it as lock.bat.Now put the both folder lock and unlock with your folder inside the new folder now you are ready to lock and unlock.
3. By making your folder invisible for all:
Create a folder and rename it by pressing "
Alt+0160
" the folder will be of no name now change the property of the folder and use the folder icon "
Empty Place
"
thus, your invisible folder is ready you can hide anything in this folder and nobody can see or open your folders.
