- The task of choosing a best antivirus for you is always difficult, where you have to check many things such as, the ability of detection, the performance and its cost. A study by the company OPSWAT ensures that Avast Free is the most popular antivirus of 2010, showing that free solutions are gaining ground over the traditional sector such as Norton or McAfee.
- According to statistics, Free Avast reached 11.45%, followed by Avira AntiVir Personal (9.19%), AVG Free (8.6%) and Microsoft Security Essentials (7.48%). Paid antiviruses are Avast (paid) - 5.4%. Followed by: Kaspersky Internet Security (4.48%), Norton Antivirus (4.24%) and ESET NOD32 Antivirus (3.84%).

Yah its true... It is the toppest antivirus which will be more protect for system.. It has been ranked top first in the 2010... This is the most defendable software antispyware too..More over this antivirus is being in this place for long long.. It sends back of many product and at present it is the top level content...The user level optimistic functional is eligible to all.. so it is user lovingly function tooooo....

All the antiviruses in 2010 worked best of the year... nice statistics it has shown in result.... May this 2011 makes many changes of this result.... I fell many new products should be developed in this current year... I feel microsoft essential product doing its functionalities well of the year.... lets make new best updates in all products and make all the user to believe in the real satisfaction of the product....

I think kaspersky is the best for me and as i am the regular usr of kaspersky i do not have any complain with kaspersky it is really good for your PC.
Even kaspersky is the best in all the test conducted to check it. There is number of way through which you can also test the kasperky and i did so, thus i think kaspersky is he best forever.

Very important and useful information about anti-virus product. Free Avast is best option for home use and thats its top ranked. For internet users upgraded versions are best. Microsoft is having notable share in antivirus market with his recently successfully launched Microsoft Security Essential and Malecious removal tool.
