How to lock Keyboard and Mouse in your Computer?

Keyboard and Mouse lock We may think many times when we are operating our computer that the keyboard and mouse should not work because of the task we are doing. For example, if we are watching a film in the computer interestingly and kids and others are playing around us and they may disturb us by pressing the keyboard or clicking on the mouse etc., which may irritate us. Even this may end your task like stopping the movie or making it still etc.

In Office also, we may be attending to some of the important files in our computer and at the same time, we may get urgent call from boss or superior and we may have to attend the same at once. At that time, somebody else in your Office may open those files or edit the same without your consent and you may end up with valuable data loss sometimes.

Sometimes, we may be downloading a bigger file from internet and which may take around 30 to 40 minutes. At that time also, we may not need any disturbance through the keyboard or mouse of our computer which may terminate the download some times. In all the above situations, we need to lock our computer's keyboard and mouse without affecting the running of the computer.

There is a solution for this problem. There exists a program called 'Kidkey Lock'. This is a freeware available in the Internet and its size is 746 Kb. For downloading this program, one has to visit http://kid-key-lock.en.softonic.com .

After proper download and installation of this program, it occupies a place in system tray of your computer. You can start this program from your computer's system tray and you can just click on the items of your computer which you want to lock at once. By using this program, you can lock both Keyboard and Mouse of your computer at once. To use this program, we have use two passwords, one for for setting up this program in your computer and another one for its usage. To stop this program from being used, you have remember the password for its usage. If you forget the password for the usage of this program, then you may not be able to use the Keyboard and Mouse of your computer. On those occassions, the best solution is to restart your computer.
