Sleep, Hibernation and Hybrid Sleep is an important feature of Windows 7. All these feature plays different role in windows 7. These features function differently from each other. These features are important in their own way. To know more see the difference below.
What is Sleep mode in Windows 7?
Sleep mode in windows 7 works like a pause function. It means you can resume your windows operating system. By using sleep mode you can resume your system in between the work and start from the pausing point. It doesn't affect your work on your system. It will pause all the processing and programming there itself and whenever you want to start the processing or program then you can start from there itself. Sleep mode is the power saving mode in windows 7.
What is Hibernation mode in Windows 7?
Hibernation mode in windows 7 is basically designed for the laptops. Hibernation takes the less space in the hard disk. It doesn't close any processing or programs after closing the laptops. It takes very less power electricity and less space in hard disk. In hibernation mode it stores all the processing and open programs in memory. Whenever you start the laptop from the hibernation it opens all the processing and programs from that folder. It is mainly use when your laptop has low battery and you don't want to close the processing and programs. At that time you can use hibernation mode in your system.
What is Hybrid Sleep mode in Windows 7?
Hybrid sleep is made especially for desktops. Hybrid Sleep is the combination of sleep mode and hibernation mode. In Hybrid Sleep mode less space is taken in the hard disk. It doesn't close any processing or programs after closing the desktops. It takes very less power electricity and space in hard disk. In Hybrid Sleep mode it makes the dummy folder on the desktop of the desktop where all the processing and open programs are stored. Whenever you start your desktop it starts all the processing and programs from there itself.
