This article describes what startup repair is and how to use startup repair in Windows 7?
Startup repair in Windows 7 is a utility tool which can repair the errors at the time of starting the Windows. Startup Repair scans your system for the errors and tries to repair it. So, that your system can startup perfectly. You can use startup repair from system recovery option menu in windows 7. It is pre-installed at the time of installation of windows 7 as well as in windows setup disc.
How to use startup repair in Windows 7
By default if your system occurs any problem at the time of startup, then Startup Repair starts automatically to repair the errors of your system. There are many such issues that can cause it to start automatically. It happens because of a lot of errors in your system while starting up. Then the startup repair is unable to execute and as well as to repair the errors. So in that case you can start startup repair manually. All you have to do is simply follow these steps below:-
1)
Very first of all you have to remove all the cd's, dvd's, and floppy's from your system.
2)
Now restart your system.
3)
Now you have to press
F8
key before booting the windows. It means that you have to keep pressing the
F8
key before displaying the windows logo. If you see the windows logo then you have to restart your system once again. Then again press the
F8
key.
4)
Now you can see the option
Advanced Boot Options
. Now using the arrow keys select
Repair your computer
and press
Enter
.
5)
Now using the keyboard and select the
NEXT
button and press enter.
6)
Now you can see the
System Recovery Option
Window.
7)
Now select the
Startup Repair
option.
That's it. Now startup repair starts to repair the errors which occur at the time of startup in Windows.
