Feed Headlines Gadget is a tool in Windows 7 which can display frequently updated headlines from a website. In this article I have explained how the Feed Headlines Gadget in Windows 7 works to display updates.

How does Feed headline Gadget works in Windows 7

The Feed Headlines gadget in Windows 7 is a very useful gadget for displaying frequently updated news headlines from a website which supplies feeds. These feeds are also known as RSS Feeds or XML feeds, syndicated content or it can also be called as web feeds as most of you might have been knowing about feeds. A Web feed is nothing but a data format used to provide its users with content which is frequently updated. The web sites use web feeds to distribute news and updates.

The Feed Headlines gadget does not display anything as default. If you want to display some set of selected news headlines, you need to click on 'View headlines'.

Once you click on 'View headlines', you have to right-click on 'Feed Headlines'. Now click on 'Options' so that you can choose from a list of availbale feeds. You can also add to the list by choosing your own feeds.
