Password disk helps you to remember the password of your Windows XP system. Password disk is a part of your own computer and it is not connected with a network. You can create unlimited password disk in your computer for different systems. Every system has a different password disk which stores password only of that system. No one can see the password disk of any other system. Only particular system can view its own password disk.

How to create a Password reset disk?

Note :- You will be needed blank floppy disk to create the password disk.
1) Click on START button and then click on Control Panel.
2) Now click on User Accounts.
3) Now click on that account on which you have to create password disk.
4) There is an option Related Tasks. Click on Prevent a forgotten Password option.
5) New Wizard will start and then click on NEXT button.
6) Now insert the blank floppy disk in the floppy drive.
7) In the User Account panel there is the option of Current User Account Password, type the password for the current user account.
8) After typing the password for that user. Click on Next button.
9) You will be able to see the progress bar. If the progress bar complete it's processing.

Then click on Next button and then click on Finish button.

Now remove the Floppy disk and name it password disk. That's it now your password reset disk is ready.
