In this article, I will explain you to what are the steps required for the installation of the Remote Alert Add-in ?


The Remote Alert Window Home Server is the notifications alert add-ins that will do the task of monitoring your system and providing the resources for your computer system that will provide you from the network problem. It will show the alert message on the computer screen when some external computer wants to maintain the communication network with your computer remotely and shown the message that is whether you want to maintain the communication network or want to block that computer system.

How to Install the Remote Alert Add-in in your system ?

1. Firstly it is required to place the main file that is Remote Alert Windows Home server installation file(RemoteAlert.msi) into the shared Add-in folder which is there in the window home server from where you can access the files and the folders and path of the files are given as ( \\[window home server] home server\software\add-ins).

2. After that open the window home server Console by double clicking on the appropriate shortcut that is placed on the desktop under the window home server icon or by using the window home server console connector that will allows the user to connect it with the computer system that can be either client computer or may be server computer.

3. Once you have opened the window home server console settings then click on the settings tab and then click on the add-ins that is given in the task pane on the left side of the screen that is left side of the window home server console and after that click on the available tab in the available add-ins area. Then you see the Remote Alert WHS add-ins that is listed under the tab add-in.

4. Once you have made the configuration settings then click on the install button that will make the starting of the initialization phase of remote alert WHS add-ins and once you have completed the installation, then click on the finish button to finalize the installation and then close the windows home server console.

5. After that restart your computer system in order to refresh the window home server console, you will noticed a new icon appears on the location where you have set the definite path for that file storage and then click on the icon to open the icon the remote alert window server and enter then link the information of your computer with that icon by opening the icon and it is definitely helps to track and monitor the remote history of your computer by using the management tools and the utilities offered by the network health tray icon provided under the window home server.
