Why your XP computer may be slow

The biggest reason for Windows XP to be slow in my opinion can be problem in the registry.Registry store information about all the programs in your computer .Whenever you click on a a program XP will search the program in the registry and then launch the program. There can be many problems with the registry like
1.Suppose you have installed a number of programs in your Windows XP computer and now when you click on a program windows will have to look for that program from the big list in the registry making you wait for quite long time.
2.Secondly when you remove any program from your Windows XP computer there may be some chances that it is not removed completely causing errors in the registry.

1.The best solution to this problem is to remove the programs that you are not using .Then whenever you will click on a program XP will have to look for the clicked program from a small list and this will take comparatively less time.
2. You should also go for defragmentation on regular intervals which helps to arrange the files in your computer in a systematic manner. It makes things easy for your computer. Don't you find it east to search your pen from your desk when it is arranged.
3.You can use a registry cleaner also to solve this problem.A number of registry cleaners are available and I will suggest you to go for the paid ones as they will eb more effective and reliable too.
