In this resource I will explain the security features in Google chrome.


 


Here are the security features in Google chrome.

1.Safe browsing feature in Chrome


The safe browsing feature in Google chrome helps to prevent attacks from phising and malwares .Thus it provides a safe browsing experience to the chrome user. You might be aware of the fact that chrome is a product of Google.Now google being the most popular search engine keeps on crawling websites regulalarly.During this process if google encounters any suspicious website it adds the website to a list of suspicious websites. When you are using google chrome if you visit any of these sites then you will see a warning message from chrome.Thus chrome is full proof agsinst suspicious websites.

2.A privacy mode called Incognito in google chrome


The Incognito feture is really helpful for computer users who use the computer on public systems or who share their computer with others. By enabling the Incognito the user makes Chrome browser not to remember visited pages, form and search bar entries, passwords, download List entries, cookies and cached files.
This is a great feature for people who want to maintain their privacy.To use this feature you will have to Select New incognito after clicking wrench menu.You might have notice a similar feature in Mozilla called private browsing.

3.Clear Browsing Data in Chrome


The Clear Browsing Data feature in chrome allows the chrome user to clear all the browsing data. Thus using this feature you can clear browsing history, downloads history, cache, cookies, saved passwords with a single click. This security feature is very helpful in chrome.
To use this feature in chrome Go to Wrench menu and select Clear browsing data.
Again this feature helps you to maintain your privacy as after deletion of history no one would be able to know which pages you visited. Useful for people who access internet on public computers.

4.Sandbox security mechanism in Chrome


The Sandbox security mechanism in Chrome helps to protect the system from virus attacks due to HTML Rendering and JavaScript execution. It also prevents any hacker from hacking your files through internet. This security mechanism makes use of Windows in operating against viruses.
Thus in brief we can conclude that google chrome has some excellent security features.
